A side hustle is a job or a way you earn money outside of your main job. It is something you do to compliment your regular income. In most cases it leverages a skill you already have or is driven by passion. e.g. Uber drivers, tutors etc.

Well it is primarily to either earn an additional income or in case of people like me to find a purpose or feel fulfilled.
In many cases it is also a Plan B should you not be in a job that has some sort of security.
Believe me, I have been through many layoffs and this is the one thing that has allowed me to handle them with grace.

As I began earning from this blog, I realised the power of my own writing skills. This blog opened avenues for me in social media, youtube and many other platforms and has infused in me so much confidence and all of that has come from the results and the impact I have created from just my writing. Now that validation can only boost your confidence.
4 – Earn Extra Income – Who cannot use a little extra money? Well imagine doing something you love and something that comes effortlessly to you and earning from it. Would life not be a BLISS!

1 – You have to begin with giving yourself grace and patience to learn this new craft.
2 – Decide what platform you would like to be on. There are many others that you can begin on just as effortlessly. It all depends on your interest.
– If you love to write, a blog is the way to go.
– If you are natural on video and graphics you may choose Instagram, Youtube or Facebook.
-If you do not want to fuss with looks and just love to talk, maybe a podcasts would work better.
Figure out what it is you want to do. In my opinion you want to stay with either a blog, podcast or video on youtube cause they are search engines and it is so easy to get found by using some simple strategies.
3 – What are your financial goals? Remember to be realistic here. You cannot make a million dollars overnight.
When I started, all I wanted was $1000 a month and I would never have to go back to work ever again.
Obviously I did not put in the work and ended in a job.
